This is when the revamped Croydon Dunelm store will be open – with the first customers to get prizes
Leading homeware retailer Dunelm has announced when it will be revealing the Croydon store’s new look to customers.
While the store at Valley Park retail centre, off Purley Way, has been open to customers lots of work has been going on behind the scenes for the last 10 weeks to get it up to the standard of the new stores the retailer is opening this year.
The 34,000 square foot store will have its new easy-to-shop layout open to customers from Wednesday (September 27).
The instore Pausa café will be updated, and the shop will stock products from household names such as Dorma, Fogarty, Joseph Joseph and Brabantia, plus new and exciting designs from Dunelm’s own exclusive elements and 5A brands.
This revamp project is part of Dunelm’s expansion programme for 2017.
To celebrate the store reopening on September 27 a free gift will be given to the first 50 customers through the door.
Dunelm, which was founded in 1979 as a market stall selling ready-made curtains, offers customers a wide range of homeware items from bedding, sofas, curtains, cushions, quilts and pillows, to kitchenware and dining, lighting, wall art and rugs.
When the Croydon branch opened in 2014 it was the retailer’s 143rd store. There are now more than 160 shops nationwide.
