A Croydon Greggs has reopened after a refurbishment – don’t worry it still sells steak bakes
The High Street branch was closed for a week while work was carried out.
A Croydon town centre Greggs has a new look after undergoing a major refurbishment.
The bakery on High Street reopened on Wednesday (September 12) after being closed for a week while the layout customers were used to was changed and equipment, including ovens, upgraded.
While the look of the branch may have changed, customers can still pick up their regular favourite food – be it a sausage roll, steak bake, bacon and cheese wrap or one of the ranges of hot and cold sandwiches.
The menu also includes soups and plenty of sweet treats to choose from.
There is also the Balanced Choice range which includes a selection of sandwiches, pasta salads, soups, drinks, porridge and fruit – all with fewer than 400 calories.
Following the refurb breakfast is served until 11am, featuring traditional classics such as bacon rolls, and the coffee options include a new Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Roisin Currie, retail director for Greggs, said: “We’re delighted to be able to invest in Croydon by providing our customers with a modern and convenient new-look shop.”
