Be Seen is our ongoing short film campaign which depicts the real-life experiences of young carers and their families.
The aim of this campaign is to articulate and raise the awareness of the adverse impact caring for a loved one with an illness, disability or addiction has on a young person.
The primary message of our Be Seen campaign is to highlight that thousands of young carers go unnoticed within our society.
This event is to officially launch the I Am More – Be Seen campaign; the evening will consist of a private screening of the full Be Seen short film campaign, acts, special guests Q & A panel, raffles and so much more.
The launching of the Be Seen campaign is to create a space to recognise the impact, discuss and celebrate young carers and the responsibilities they take on voluntarily.
We will introduce the strategies we offer to support young carers and their families be seen as well as creating a platform to discuss strategies which can be introduced collectively.
Join us for an evening of networking, live acts, discussion, food, drink and fun; as we launch our Be Seen Short Film Campaign.
Doors open from 5:30pm and registration will begin at 5:45pm.
